If you are looking for a flooring contractor, and still bewildered by the choices available on the market, then read this. Like many homeowners, I was looking for flooring upgrade for my upcoming new home possession. City of Surrey firstly has a very mature home renovation market, and every block on the 128th street, you can easily found one or two. Best Flooring Company was not my first choice, as at the time, I was attracted by another 5stars. The first 5 stars company was great in pricing, and staff was very nice. However, I still decided to visit Best Flooring Company for a comparison and I am truly glad I did. The presentation centre is by appointment only, so I called the owner Mostafa if he is available to meet. He happened to be nearby and took less than 10 mins to show up. I explained my scenario to him, just like how I did to the first 5 star company. I told him that quality of work, communication and timing of the job are my priority. Pricing matters, but in a market like Surrey, the market price are same, if not only small margin. We agreed to schedule a measurement appointment, so I could get a final pricing. And this is where Mostafa impressed me. The first 5 stars company was late by 15mins to the scheduled time, however Mostafa was not just on time, but arrived early 15mins. He was waited patiently outside of my house, and gave me a confirmed pricing shortly after the measurement, where the first 5 stars company took over 2 days to get back. As a home owner taking over a new possession, communication and timing are very important, as there are many things interconnected. At that moment, I made my decision to choose Mostafa, and told him the colour I would like to go. Few days later, I received a call from Mostafa, as he just received a brand new style of flooring to the shop and invited me to take a look. At beginning, I was still holding on the original color, but Mostafa shared his experience that my original choice may make the house look darker and smaller. I could end up regretting my decision. I then chatted with my wife and decided to take his advise. Installation. I told Mostafa that I can only gave him 4 days to finish the job, as I have moving in next day. However, he is fine taking basement job longer. Throughout the installation, we discovered that some part of first floor leveling wasn't perfectly, and could end up extra cost in cement. I was almost fine to leave it as it is, but Mostafa was very professional and used sanding machine to smooth out the applied wood. At end, he finished the entire project before 4 days (including basement), and the new flooring looks truly amazing under Mostafa’s craftsmanship. Long story short, I’m sure there are many flooring contractors out there. But if you are looking for excellent craftsmanship and TIMELY COMMUNICATION, then you should not miss him

Mostafa is honest and very knowledgeable about flooring. He has years of expertise and it shows! His prices are extremely fair and he is friendly and pleasant. I have already referred him to friends and family. He completed the job in a timely manner and kept the work site clean and tidy. Even vacuumed debris from my driveway! Thanks for a great job.

Amazing experience with Mostafa and crew. We had an issue with our flooring in our condo unit and it turns out the entire floor was rotten due to the previous irresponsible tenants. Anyway Mostafa and crew came up with a solution, despite this being the first time he's had to deal with a situation like ours where the entire unit has to be replaced. Not only was his solution quick, simple, and effective, he gave us a new quotes, minimize labour costs, and even helped direct us on where to go to get the materials and supplies needed at a lower cost. Overall, extremely happy doing business with Best Flooring Company and Mostafa and can't recommend them enough to anyone looking for a humble and effective small flooring company. Super grateful for their help as I know 1000% any other company would have charged us all kinds of things to get our work needed done for our unit.

The Best Flooring Company, was a word of mouth find from friends who had their floors done and was happy with the quality of work and the pricing. Mostafa and his team did a great installation job. He responded to messages promptly, and clearly communicated timelines. These guys worked nonstop and completed my second floor, stairs and half of the main floor in 4 days. They left my home clean after they completed the job. My home looks so much better! We were very happy with Mustafa. He did a tear out of our existing carpet and underlay, removed thousands of staples from the floor, then did an excellent job leveling and prepping our lumpy subfloor. He seamlessly installed vinyl plank flooring through multiple large rooms and finished it all up by installing new baseboards. He was fast friendly and efficient and we were very pleased with the finished job. We are already arranging for him to install new flooring in another property we own.

My husband and I reached out to Mustafa after having a terrible experience with a different flooring company. The initial flooring company that worked on our floors did not disclose our floors were uneven prior to the installation, did not suggest any levelling, did a POOR job with baseboard application, calking and even ruined our door casings ... From there, we called Mustafa from Best Flooring Co., and he put our frustrations to ease. Just from our initial phone call with Mustafa - he took the time to WhatsApp call us and patiently answered all our questions. He then did a complimentary site visit to see what was possible to fix. From my past experience with other companies, I found that some contractors may come off pushy or try to brush off your concerns if it seemed like it’s too much work for them. Mustafa and his team replaced the old carpet in our office with vinyl plank flooring. Being an office that is running with office furniture it is already difficult but Best Floors did an awesome job working around our office staff and furniture! They do very nice work. The floors and baseboards they installed look great and it was done in a timely manner. He went over and above by doing little extras at no extra charge and even discounted the final bill a bit as they did not use as much levelling cement! I highly recommend Best Floors! I had the most pleasant experience working with Mustafa and his team, who we had hired to renovate our LVP flooring that was improperly installed five years ago. The job was a difficult one but Mustafa was extremely knowledgeable and was able to pinpoint the issue with our old flooring immediately (cheap products and improper installation). He was thorough and ensured that our floor was installed correctly this time around, even going so far as removing old layers of flooring which was a step no other contractor was willing to take. Moreover, the detail he put into his work amazed me as he even went in and screwed down our plywood to ensure there were no squeaky boards. The finishing of his work was phenomenal and we have gotten so many compliments on our new floors. I first chose to contact him based on the reviews I saw and after working with him it’s safe to say they speak the truth. We’re so grateful we found him. If you want your flooring done right he is the best out there, I highly recommend him.
